He attended the Agriculture College in Fargo, ND, now known as North Dakota State University. Bob entered the US Navy in 1944 and served in WWII, he was honorably discharged in 1946. He returned to high school and graduated with his brother, Morris and the class of 1947. Bob chose to put his high school education on hold and enlisted in the US Navy to serve his country. He graduated from High School in Leeds, ND. Robert John James Montgomery the XIII was born on Januin Fargo, ND to Robert John James the XII and Emily (Fisher) Montgomery.īob attended elementary schools in Fargo, Bismarck, Stanton and Bottineau, ND. Robert “Bob” John James Montgomery XIII, 92, of Tioga, North Dakota passed away, Sunday, December 9, 2018, at the Tioga Long Term Care Nursing Home.
